Poker Run and Open House!

Morgan Airport

So yesterday at David's school, there was a poker run and an open house. The poker run is kind of like a scavenger hunt where the school gives the pilots a list of airports they need to fly over and take a picture of. They had to get at least 5 airports, including the one they were flying out of. I was able to go with him and take the pictures. We went to the Ogden airport, Brigham City, Logan and Morgan. There was a lot of terbulance coming out of Farmington canyon, but overall it was a lot of fun! After we got back with our pictures, we got a card. One card for each picture. So we got 5 cards from 5 different decks and whoever has the best poker hand, wins. Well David let me pick the cards and we got 2 pair!! 2 Queens and 2 10's.... and we won!! The first place prize was $500 dollars!! Woohoo!!

Afterward was the open house. We were able to look at a lot of different planes, eat lunch, watch the skydivers come in and watch the old planes take off. It really was a great day!
